Aesthetic Facial Bone Surgery


Abstract
An ideally "beautiful face" is hard do define by words, numbers, or other measurements. The standard of beauty is a matter of individual or cultural opinion. The orientals have their own view of beauty and it is fairly different from that of
Westerners.
There are certain facial skeletal features which are regarded as poor facial aesthetic ; a narrow and flat forhead, prominent malar eminences, hypoplastic paranasal areas, and prominent mandibular angles. Various facial skeletal deformities can
produced
psychological, physical impact to patient. This article dicussed aesthetic surgery of facial skeleton in the Orientals and presented some of author's experiences in facial bone contouring surgery.
